Good Morning to all my sassy friends,

I wanted to put in a plug for the Copic Class on Sept. 17th at 6 p.m.

If you've never tryed these amazing markers this is a great opportunity to do so.

We'll be doing something new. I've been working hard to bring something fresh to the table.
So this class will be strictly a HOW TO (no cards).

Our topics we'll cover: "How to Choose Blending Colors", "Light Sources and Directions" and "Fall Colors (Leaves, Trees, Pumpkins and Scarecrows)".

Class will also include a free marker and two new hand-outs for future reference.

PLEASE
Call the Store to sign up so I'll know how much to prepare.
Thank you.

September is HERE!!!!

How quickly a month goes by here at Sassy Scrapper.

When I looked at the calendar it was "September"

TODAY

I feel like the years seem to fly by and they go faster as I am getting older.
"Oh my, where has the year gone?"
It is September today and before we know it this too will be long gone.

This weekend was our Sassy Backyard Retreat.
It gave me a  great opportunity to work on some new ideas for classes for the coming months.
This afternoon I was even making plans for October classes.

SO I am rushing around trying to get all my layouts ready to put online and on the wall.

If you've never been to our Sassy store or maybe it's been a long time since your last visit,
you would find that we list our new classes on the white board and
the layouts are posted up on the wall behind the register.
If you can't make it to the store the layouts are also on the calendar.

I am gearing up for the fall season.  It's one of my most favorite times of the year - the crisp air, the falling leaves and the beautiful colors.  You can see this in a couple of my new layouts.
One will be a kit and the other a class.  CALL and sign up space is limited.

OK  - now for the one reason I started this post.  I have a  new layout for you that is simple and fun.
I used the Lego paper (red, blue, green), pop dots, white paper to mat pics and diamond glaze to give extra dimension.

My son made his first Lego house using his imagination and I had to get pictures.  To put the layout together I cut out Lego's from each color paper and put them on top of the base page.  You can add a little diamond glaze to give the individual Lego's a thin layer of glossy.  Be sure to put it on with an applicator sponge rather than just pouring it on - you will have to much and it will drip and run.  Keep in mind that if you want a puffy more raised look you can use Glossy Accent instead.
Put on Diamond Glaze or Glossy Accent after you have adhered all the pieces where you want them.  I pop dotted mine before I glazed.

I hope that you enjoy this and have some fun.
Happy creating to you.
